Solitaire turns 25! Microsoft celebrates with global tournaments
No other game might have earned so much fans across the world. No other game might have survived the competition and maintain the follower-base for such a long time. Yes, our beloved Solitaire is turning 25 and Microsoft is all set to celebrate this occasion by organizing Solitaire tournaments on a global level.
The first tournament has been already started and that’s an internal competition for Microsoft employees. In the second tournament, the company will bring in world’s best players face-to-face.
“In early June, the same challenges used in the tournament will be released in the game for the world to play,” says a company blog post. It also adds, “You’ll be challenged to bring your best to defeat our best.”
There will be five different game modes for the players. It includes FreeCell, Spider and also the classic version called Klondike. The company hasn’t revealed further details about the competitions.
